Author: G. S. Scott
Genre: Epic Fantasy (with Romantic Elements & LGBTQ Characters)
Cover Designer: Colleen Nye
Editor: Genevieve Scholl
Publisher: True Tree Press
Publication Date: May 21st, 2019

Blurb:
For 500 years, the God of Chaos has ruled in a torturous reign of brutality. Now, desperate gods and goddesses are seeking an end to his dominion. To counter them, Chaos calls for the Cleansing: the sacrifice of all children under two.
Ellis escapes the Cleansing through intuition and prophetic dreams. Visions drag him north toward an ethereal tower, deep in The Lands of the Dead. His life is saved by Dirge, a swordsman with a haunted past who thinks Ellis was born to end the reign of Chaos. Ellis grows to head a troupe of traveling entertainers. His only true friend is Daylin, a young woman and former priest’s slave who talks with wolves. Always on the move, they stay steps ahead of the fire-wielding priest who killed Ellis’ parents.
To the north, villagers discover Betal at the forest’s edge. Sensing Betal’s immense power, a local paladin excludes Betal from the Cleansing and declares him The Hand of God. As Betal falls into a roll as an acolyte to Chaos, strange dreams of wolves haunt him. His only friend is a fellow acolyte, Mangin, a beguiling young woman who delights in twisting the minds of others. The pair set out to Citadel, where they will become full-fledged priests, if they can escape a murderous beast and assassins who stalk the path.
When the two groups meet, intrigue, love, and sex intertwine them. Can they trust one another when the old gods challenge Chaos using mortals as pawns? Even fools know to trust Chaos is to invite death.

Excerpt:
Heartless squatted on the edge of his golden throne, his eye color changing wildly. A snarl played on his lips as he reveled in the power flowing from the Lord of Chaos through the bejeweled, multihued crown, entangled within his long black hair. At the foot of his dais lay the bubbling pool that used to be his herald—the man had the poor luck to bring him the spy. Heartless didn’t dare kill his eyes and ears within the Council of Taneer so he took his rage out on the herald.
A voice whispered in the back of his head.
He glanced at the spot where the spy’s gateway closed when the man left, the lingering scent of burnt ozone still in the air. “What were you holding back?” he asked, his voice echoing in the vast, dust-choked chamber. The light from mangled, crystal chandeliers and rush torches, along with the sparse rays peaking in through boarded windows left the castle in perpetual dim, earning it the name, the Black Keep.
Heartless clenched his fists, the knuckles whitening. It didn’t matter what the spy withheld, the news he brought was bad enough. His face twisted. “Gabriel thinks he can take what is mine? The gall! I won their damned Game. Edis—Chaos himself—chose me, and I won. The world is mine. And now the Arbiter expects me to step down over some time limit? A time limit?” Heartless hurled his golden scepter across the room, the crystal top shattering on the rippled, uneven marble floor. Taking a deep breath, he chuckled. “A Rebirthing? Why would Gabriel do such a thing? Why be a mortal when he’s already a god?”

He chuckled as he snagged her purse from the back of the office chair, placing it on her abdomen as he strolled out of the office and to the lobby. Stopping at the locked door, he waited for security to open the outer door, putting his mouth to Maddie’s ear. “You have the body of a goddess, Sunshine,” he told her in a low, graveled voice, knowing she wasn’t coherent, but needing to tell her regardless.
“Too fat,” she answered on a soft sigh.
“Perfect,” he answered, amused.
“Ugly red hair,” she whispered, her eyes still closed.
“Beautiful,” he retorted. “You’re crazy,” she said with a feminine grunt of irritation.
“Probably,” he admitted, exiting through the door as his employee opened it and stopping at the passenger side of his Bugatti. The guard caught Sam’s subtle message and rushed to open the door of the automobile.
Maddie let loose another soft sigh, her warm breath caressing his neck. Sam bit back a groan.
Breathing a sigh of relief, Sam deposited Maddie’s cuddly body into the seat. He couldn’t be that close to her. Her scent, the feel of her body made him fucking insane. He fastened her seatbelt and settled her handbag into her lap before closing the door. Taking a deep breath, he moved around the car, lifting his hand in a silent gesture of thanks to his helpful security employee as he opened the driver’s door and settled himself into his seat. Closing the door, he started the engine and strapped on his own seatbelt, his gaze drifting back to Maddie.
Shit! He hated seeing Maddie this way, so obviously exhausted. Even if it rankled, he’d rather see her spitting fire at him, her eyes flashing, her voice dripping with sarcasm or anger. Seeing her look so tired, so lost, so vulnerable ripped his fucking heart from his chest.
Tearing his eyes away from her, he shifted his Veyron into gear, making a decision that was definitely going to piss her off but deciding he didn’t give a shit. No doubt, if he didn’t intervene, she’d be right back in action in the morning, hauling her drained body out of bed and into the clinic before the rehearsal and dinner the following afternoon.
Not happening! So what if she hates me for it? She already knows that I’m an asshole. Doesn’t matter. As long as she’s healthy.
He plugged his cell phone into its dashboard holder, intending to make some calls as he swung the car into a U-turn and headed back in the same direction he had been driving earlier.
He grinned, shooting a quick glance at Maddie before he dialled the first number, barking orders into the phone even though it was after one o’clock in the morning. Luckily, his personal assistant was sharp and responded immediately. It wasn’t every night that Sam called him at this hour; in fact, Sam never had called his PA at this hour, and David caught on instantly that the orders were important to his boss.
Totally oblivious, Maddie slumbered on, unaware of the fact that she was about to take a short vacation, whether she wanted it or not.

He groaned with ecstasy as her scent surrounded him, happily drowning him in her essence. His heart thundered, his body reveling in a sensation he thought he’d never experience again.

“Jesus. I missed this so much,” he whispered huskily against her ear, his hand reaching up to swipe the string that turned off the light above them, plunging them into darkness.
Mia relaxed into his body, fitting perfectly against him.
“I don’t remember us not being together, but I know that I missed it too. I love you,” she said in a quiet, solemn voice.
His whole body shuddered as his hold on her tightened involuntarily. His hand splayed over her stomach, urging her closer. Those were the words he’d wanted to hear, needed to hear. As long as Mia loved him, not another damn thing in the world mattered. “I love you, too. I didn’t think I’d ever get to hold you again.” His voice was choked, emotion lodging in his throat.

The Billionaire’s Obsession~KADE
πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯
The proprietary beast that kept rearing its head when it came to Asha was back. Admittedly, Kade wasn’t sure it ever really went away. It seemed to always be there hiding just beneath the surface, and it was clawing its way out easier and easier every day if there was any threat or slight to Asha.

Kade shifted her slender weight, tucking her sleeping form back into the bed, questions forming one right after the other in his mind.
Why had she always been alone? What kind of a life had she lived? Hadn’t anyone ever been there to take care of her?

He knew way too little about her, and it rankled. He wanted to know everything about her. She fascinated him in a way that he was pretty sure wasn’t exactly sane, and that was perhaps actually a little bit obsessive.

Asha tossed restlessly in the bed, as though haunted by dreams. Kade shucked his jeans and shirt and slipped into the bed beside her. She reached for him immediately, crawling all over him to absorb his warmth. Smiling ruefully, he had to admit that he was getting used to this specific brand of torture. He’d be disappointed now if she didn’t seek him out in her sleep.

Stroking her hair and rubbing his hand comfortingly down her back, he whispered, “I’ll find out what your troubles are and take care of them. You’ll never be alone again.”

Asha Paritala deserved much more than the deal that fate had obviously handed her. And Kade was determined to change that destiny for her, whether she wanted his help or not.

While Asha slept, Kade started making plans, arrangements that he was determined to put in motion the very next day.

And so… he did.

BILLIONAIRE UNDONE
THE BILLIONAIRE’S OBSESSION~TRAVIS

πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

Ally threw her hands up in the air, trying to keep herself from going for Travis’s throat.
Like he really invited warm and fuzzy conversation? He spent most of his time barking orders at her. “I didn’t realize that I needed to share my personal life with my self-centered bastard of a boss. I keep my troubles to myself because I know that’s the way you like it. You pay me to work, and I do my job. Now I want to take my earned vacation time.” Had she really just called Travis a bastard? They fought constantly, and she’d certainly wanted to say those words to his face about a million times in the past, but she’d never been that blunt or unprofessional. She really was beginning to lose it. “Please. Just give me the time off. I’ll come back a better person for it.”
“He hurt you,” Travis stated neutrally.

Ally dropped into the chair in front of Travis’s desk, depleted. “My whole life revolved around his career for years. I stopped going to college after my bachelor’s degree instead of trying to go on for my MBA so he could finish first. It made sense at the time. Or I thought it did. I sacrificed everything I wanted, but I had a plan to make everything work out. I’d work hard, help him finish school, and then it would be my turn. Except, now that it’s supposed to be my turn, it isn’t,” she answered quietly, her anger spent.

“I didn’t realize you worked another job. What do you do?” Travis leaned back in his chair, but he didn’t look away from her, his dark eyes watching her intently.

“I’m a bartender. I work at Sully’s Oasis almost every night of the week. I started as a cocktail waitress, and the owner taught me to make drinks. Eventually, I got good at it. The bartending pays better.”

Travis lifted an eyebrow. “Better than I pay you?”

“No. Better than being a cocktail waitress. I had to work my way up to bartending.” It had taken her two years, but she’d gotten a raise at Sully’s. “The tips are good. You pay me a very good salary. I could never match it with bartending. But the extra job helps to pay the bills. I need to sell the house, get clear of the debt my cheating fiancΓ© racked up, and get rid of the extra job so I can go back to school part-time.”

“You look tired, Alison,” Travis observed, his eyes traveling over her face.

“I’ve been exhausted for years. I’m used to it.” Ally laughed, trying to make light of the situation. This wasn’t the type of conversation she usually had with Travis, and she was feeling raw and awkward. She was much more comfortable fighting with him.

“She better be a good temp.” Travis finally spoke after a moment of silence. “I still need you in Colorado, but you can have the time off before we leave. Just bump it up a week so you’re back before I have to go. I assume since you’re not getting married, what time you take off doesn’t really matter.”

Ally looked at Travis in surprise.

He is a very good temp, and that would mean I’d have to go on vacation next week.”

“Then go.” Travis shrugged.

“What are we doing in Colorado?” she asked curiously.
Travis grimaced. “A fundraiser. I need an escort.”

Ally gaped at him. “I’m not going as your date to a fundraiser. That’s personal. I thought you had business there.”

“I do. And you aren’t technically my date. I have to attend this function, and I don’t want to go alone,” Travis rumbled. “It’s not that difficult. You go. You talk nicely to people and try not to call them self-centered bastards. And then you eat and drink whatever they have to offer. Tate Colter has been a business associate and a friend of mine for years. He agreed to do this charity ball only if I’d come to Colorado because I haven’t visited for a while. He wants me to be there. Going alone would be—” Travis coughed before finishing. “Awkward.”
“Why?” Ally crossed her arms in front of her. There was nothing strange about going to a fundraiser alone. There had to be something Travis wasn’t telling her. “You attend these types of things all the time. You don’t need me there.”

“This one is… different,” Travis said hesitantly. “I just need you to be there, Alison. It is technically business. Your presence is required. The temp can stay and hold down the fort with Kade while we’re gone.”

Ally eyed Travis curiously, wondering what he wasn’t saying. “I don’t have the necessary attire for that kind of function. I’ve never needed anything but office attire.”

“I’ll provide it. You’re dismissed back to your duties.” He waved a hand at her like she was a pesky fly.

God, Ally hated it when Travis did that. She felt like a naughty schoolgirl. “And how long will we be gone?”

“Leave Friday, return Monday. The actual ball is on Saturday night,” Travis answered absently, as though he had already put the whole thing out of his mind.
Ally stood, brushing imaginary wrinkles away on her tight skirt and tugging it down her hips. “Diet,” she reminded herself, turning to leave the office. She wanted to argue with Travis, but she couldn’t. He’d never asked her to travel with him, and it was part of her job as his assistant. The fact that Travis was a loner, and preferred it that way, was one of the reasons she was actually able to work a second job. He was usually alone, and didn’t feel the need for an entourage. And he never required anything from her outside of work hours. She’d do this for him just because he wasn’t demanding in that way, and he very well could have been. Somehow, although he was making light of it, it seemed important to him, and he’d never asked her to travel to events with him before.
“Totally unnecessary, Alison,” Travis said in a low, graveled voice so quietly that Ally almost didn’t hear him.

She turned back to him. “What’s unnecessary?”

“You don’t need to diet.” Travis scowled at her.
Ally rolled her eyes. “Yeah. Sure. My gorgeous body certainly didn’t keep my fiancΓ© from banging another woman in our bed,” she answered facetiously, surprising herself again by the words that popped out of her mouth. She might do battle with Travis fairly often, but it had never gotten this personal.

Travis rose slowly, his liquid, fierce gaze never leaving her as he crossed the room unhurriedly, stopping right in front of her. Ally stepped back, trapping herself between Travis’s massive body and the door as he stepped forward again. His masculine scent filled the air around her and she almost sighed when she inhaled the intoxicating smell. She didn’t get this close to him very often, but whenever she did, her knees got weak just from the virile, musky male scent that emanated from his body like pheromones, beckoning her to get close enough to wallow in him. Travis might be a stubborn ass most of the time, but one thing Ally couldn’t deny was that he was a gorgeous, potent, testosterone-overloaded male ass.

Travis placed a palm on each side of her head, leaning down until Ally shivered as his warm breath caressed her ear.

“Your ex-fiancΓ© was and is an idiotic fool. You, Alison, have the kind of soft, feminine body any man wants beneath him when he sinks his cock into a woman’s body. Every single thing about you is perfect.” His voice was husky, warm, and mesmerizing. “If he’d been smarter, he would have made you come, given you exactly what you wanted until you were so addicted to him that you’d never walk away, and he’d never want another woman when he had you in his bed.”

Ally nearly moaned against Travis’s shoulder, the seductive voice in her ear enthralling her. “He didn’t do that,” she admitted, leaning her head back against the door. Rick hadn’t given a shit whether she was satisfied or not.

Travis straightened, looking down at her from his towering height, his face changing to a mask of indifference. “Then he didn’t deserve you. Actually, he never did.” He stepped back, allowing space to open the door.

BILLIONAIRE UNMASKED
THE BILLIONAIRE’S OBSESSION~JASON
πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

Her treacherous nipples hardened against his chest, her longing suddenly stronger than her will to resist. She spread her hands into his fuck-me-now hair, fisted it and pulled his mouth harder against hers. Their mouths fused together, he ravaged her with every thrust of tongue. He pushed; she pushed right back.
Hope’s yearning grew, and she moaned into his mouth, wanting so much more than she could possibly get. She’d wanted him, wanted this for so very long. But she wasn’t able to give Jason what he wanted, even if she let him be a domineering bully, which she refused to do. Still, her body wanted, but what it really needed was a frustrating impossibility.

They broke the kiss, both of them breathing heavily. “Let go, Jason,” she told him firmly and pushed against his shoulders. “Let go.”
She wriggled out of his embrace as she swore she heard him whisper the word “never” softly. “I’m taking a shower and then I’m leaving.”

“Take a shower,” he rumbled. “And then we’ll eat and you’ll explain exactly why you felt it necessary to lie to everyone who cares about you. My threat wasn’t idle, Hope,” he warned her ominously.
“I’ll always hate you for this,” she told him angrily, furious with herself for still being so uncontrollably attracted to him when he acted like such a jerk. “What the hell is wrong with you? What happened to the Jason who actually rescued me from bullies instead of being one himself?”

“He grew up to be an asshole,” he answered morosely, his azure eyes glacial and dark. “Hate me if it makes you feel better, but I’m not letting you leave here until I get what I want.”

Bastard!

Hating Jason was easier with every word he uttered, and she strode over to him and let her hand fly, no thought in her head except to wipe the smug look off his face.
Smack!

The satisfaction of her hand as it connected with his frosty expression was more satisfying than the pain of her stinging palm. How dare he extort her just to get into her panties?

The shocked expression on his face was priceless, and Hope’s anger continued to swell as he grasped her wrist to keep her from slapping him again.

Truthfully, not only was she pissed, but she was disheartened and wondered what had happened to the Jason she actually liked. This man was someone entirely different, and her heart mourned the loss of the man who had always kept her secrets without requiring anything in return.

“I guess this means you’ve decided to despise me?” He held his hand up to his reddened cheek. “But it doesn’t matter.”
For a brief moment, Hope thought she spotted an injured, sad look in his otherwise cold eyes… but in an instant, it was gone.
